About

HackBama is a great resource in Alabama to provide an open platform for Information Security industry professionals to collaborate, exchange ideas and develop long standing relationships with others in the community for vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, digital forensics, and all manner of information technology and security.

We are information security professionals that have years of experience with large corporations, governments, and small businesses. We are here to help find issues and provide solutions to technology new and old.

Members of HackBama are on the cutting edge of vulnerability research and regularly present at local information security groups (ISACA, ISSA, OWASP) and participate in renowned security conferences around the world (DEF CON, HOPE, OWASP AppSec, Hacker Halted, CACS).

The “Hack_ _ _ _ ” originated in Miami under HackMiami %27.  It now has several meetups all around the globe from New York to Amsterdam. Following in the footsteps of HackMiami, we are now creating our own flavor in north Alabama!
